I think someone mentioned a blue grouse......and Dman, you ask me this every year....nope, not an archery tag this year I just decided to get a headstart on the high hunt.   (j/k I have a multiseason tag as previously mentioned) :)

So anyways........I got up the next morning at 5 and still wasn't sure what my game plan was going to be.  I made my way up the creek a bit and waited for the light.  I spotted this gentleman first thing.  He was walking across the top of a slide chute and he was big and blocky.  I could tell he was a big buck without even seeing his bones.  As the light got better I could see a rack, so the stalk began.
