Lots of berries
« on: September 05, 2009, 08:42:44 PM »
Up 410 today towards Mt. Rainer.  Tons of berries
about 4500'  but no bear sign whatsoever.  A few piles
of scat but I am pretty sure it was coyote.  Berries are ripe.

Most of the berries are gone from around here. Very few huckleberries, a few more thimble berries, but not much. Been seeing more logs tore up though!

Look at old clear cuts with lots of rotting logs. Ants and grubs.....

Tons of ripe berries up top.  No sign of bear there either!
Ran into some other hunters and they said the same...
