I talked to the YTC officer about that buck yesterday. He said that guy logged in out there 30 times this summer for scouting.

Sorry Kimber I was just being sarcastic.  It was shot in the Yakima Training Center.  Some will be pissed becuase I spilled the beans.  But who cares it's not like it's not already public knowledge.  It's not like when they interview him that info isn't going to come out.

No problem. I figured as much..  I just wasn't familiar with what "YTC" stood for.  The whereabouts will come out so who cares if you said it.

Update 9-10-2009

Unofficial gross green score is 209 1/8 inches with 8 7/8 inches if deductions.  This gives it an unofficial net green score of 200 1/8 inches, putting him number two in Washington.  He is 31 1/2 inches wide, with great mass al the way out to the tips. This is a beautiful buck. Congrats mark, thanks for the update!

Mark had it on display at the Yakima Sportsmans Show two weeks ago. He won several awards for it in the horn & antler competition. Not sure of the final scoring somewhere around 193" after drying but it did stretch out another 1/2" for an official 32" wide. Mark said he is wishing now that he had gone with a full body mount and not the shoulder.
God Bless,
Scott

He had it caped out for a full body when I saw it.
