So far they bought me a new tire as the first flat was a 2 inch hole.  THe last one, Les schwab picked up the tab evnthough it wasn't a Scwhabbie tire.  They know me a s a customer though and know my plight.  By the way, I missed the perfect picture yesterday.  I came around a corner in real rangeland and there were 5 black angus in the road. They were smarter than the last one and moved.  Probably because they saw me digging for the camera.  It hought it would make a nice caption.
Hopefully they will do the same with this tire.

The thought has crossed my mind.   I looked 4 ply.  I have toilet paper that is 6 ply. LOL   I didn't even know they made 4 ply truck tires.  I'm not impressed with the Chevy Silverado either.  Have to admit that Hemi kicks its butt.  Not trying to start any truck debate, but I can sure tell a difference.   After seeing the tires are 4 ply, they probably have a 4 hp lawnmower engine under the hood too.

Yep, exactly what they are.  Soft as butter and 4 ply.

Those are bar none the worst tires you can buy... well...maybe not bar none...but they suck. Dad bought a set years ago..probably 88' or so, got 3 or 4 flats in one weekend up in the  mountains and took them back and got Toyos... never ran another tire since...neither have I!

We just put Toyos on a gov rig that came with Wranglers... 3 flats in the first week out here in the mountains...

Wish you could have got some more pics man...

I learned my lesson years ago. Anytime I go on a trip these days I take one of my dive tanks, regulator and an attachment to inflate my tires. Unless there is a huge hole, this works great and has saved my bacon on numerous occasions. With a 3200 psi fill, it will take care of many many flats and get you back to town for the fix.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!
