I'm pretty pumped, I was out elk hunting all weekend (though that didn't go well) and seen about 20-30 grouse a day in the area I was hunting. The pup, 11-87  and I have a date for the next time I get a chance to pull away. I love those taste forest chickens. Not to mention I will hopefully connect on my first blue.

I did get one ruff with the bow this weekend and grilled it up that night at camp

I would be glad to double check those grouse for you. Please send GPS coordinates in a PM, so unscrupulous hunters don't go after those birds. You can't trust some hunters.

I can give you a hint, it's south of where I am right now and around some clearcuts.
