I was asking myself if that elk looked real?

Pretty funny, though.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I always put the head downhill until I get the body cavity opened up. All the internal organs are up in the chest area. After I get em opened up, then I rotate the ass end down hill and let gravity do the rest. Reach up inside and cut the wind pipe and let it all run down hill. Avoids that mess.  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I like the gut hook knife.  It unzips the hide like a zipper on a coat. 8)

Since, I can gut any animal, unless they are gutshot, etc... then it is a battle of wills to keep my breakfast or lunch where it belongs in my stomach.. :o.  Blood and guts never bother me, but a kid can puke, and I am running.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

MJ,

Im guessing they found the elk dead on the side of the hill and tied the horns to keep it from sliding farther...but they could have tied the back legs just as easy...  Im affraid the stuff getting on him would be expected an barely worth trying to avoid for me...although in my mind Im always doing the job myself where I dont have help or a choice!

funny though!
