I have one and have stuck to 139 and 154 Hornady bullets.  I don't have the load available right now but, will let you know soon.  I just didn't want you to feel all along.  I really like mine but, don't use it much since I have others that I like better.

Might try looking into loads with IMR 4350, IMR 4831, and RL-19. Those powders should work great wih all 7mm bullet weights.

This is a caliber that will probably phase out.  I keep hearing talk of continuing 300 WSM & 270 WSM.   :dunno:
Cut em!

You should ask JoshT to see what he thinks since he is the 7mm master!!! I am surpised he hasn't commented on this yet since it has 7mm in the title.

I have a 270WSM and my dad is using the Barnes TSX 150 grain, I will use them this year and will let you know how they do!
Here is a link for Barnes load specs for the TSX http://www.barnesbullets.com/images/7mmWinchesterShortMagnumWeb.pdf

Good point FF4607, josht seems to really be into the 7mm rem mag. Case is bigger, and holds more powder!

Its a great caliber with unbelievable options but it hasn't caught on and several manufacturer's have dropped it from their lines.   :(
 I really want a Kimber Montana in 7wsm   ;)

It depends how long you want to go. the 160 or 162 gr BT's will do you well out to 600. Beyond, the high BC of the 175 & 180 gr VLD's take over. One LR shooter/hunter I know uses the Bergers or SMK's out to 1000 yds in his 7mm WSM.

For me, I have had great success with the Speer 145 gr BT, the Hornady 154 gr SP, and the Sierra 160 gr BT in my 7mm Rem Mag.

I am now trying the barnes tsx in 140gr we will see what happens. And yes the 7wsm does not seem to be catching on as well as 270 and 300 wsm but i love it  shoots great and can still be bought from kimber and browning with new factory ammo still being made.

Buy the Kimber.  You wont regret it. Lightest gun out there and has a great trigger from the factory.

I bought one for my wife when she drew an elk tag. It is in a M70 Win. classic. I heard it had less recoil than the 7 rem mag. It worked good on that elk and a whitetail that year. She has since gone back to her 243, since she is just hunting deer and antelope. I don't like how it groups, have tried several loads, and had to settle for about a 3/4 inch group at 100 yards. Not good enough. I like em to drive tacks.
