SO... I must say, that I was just too damn excited that I post a pic with no story. Sorry for that.

Yes, this is the total bull of a lifetime! It was shot with a muzzleloader that I made and put together back when I was 14 or so. 164 yrd shot downhill.

My cousin (lil bro) and I walked in at first light. Heard just one or two bugles. As we stalked to where we wanted to go, I spotted two rag horns running towards us. we hunkered down and they kept on going. We just got up to a tree when we had a couple more cows come up on us, then a dandy 6x. that 6x was about 35-40 yards from us and I was about to shoot when my cuz started whispering, "DON"T SHOOT!" I looked back at him like "what the F&@K! are you talking about". Then I seen what he was looking at! he goes "That ones BIGGER!!" I's like no *censored*! I see this one running after the cows just below us. As he ran down into the thick *censored*. He stopped in just enough of an opening that all we could see was from his front shoulders back. Just leaving me enough of a window to shot. So my cuz walks around the tree to the other side so he could video the shot and I let it go, and he got it all on film! Pretty cool stuff!!

So that pretty much it.. Looks like someone else put up some better pic's for ya all. I've yet to go through all the pics and stuff yet. One heck of a bull though. The drive home was quite fun! All the thumbs up and people take'n pictures. It doesn't get much better. All because my cousin told me to use my points and put in for this tag. So I must give him all the credit for slot'n me in on this big brute!

Great bull. Did you hunt high or low in 340?

Very nice bull nailbender, nice to see one taken someplace other than right next to the safety zone.

dang dude im not sure id feel comfortable shooting that far with a centerfire with open sights, not second guessing your ethics or anything, i know a lot of guys say you can shoot 200 pretty easy with the new inlines and what not, but i always figured most of those shots were done with scoped smokepoles where allowed, just seems like an incredible shot to me

Hey Nailbender,
I thought I would have some fun with you since we never discussed this site. Anytime you want to hang a bull like that in my shop again just give me a call!! I will be out of town for a week but make sure and have Ryan send that video.

groundhog - I was a bit set back. But then I looked at the pics and knew they didn't come from my camera. I appreciate your hospitality. I thank you again. I can't wait to see the video on something other than a two inch screen. So yea, I'll be sure its sent your way.
