NWCO and Trapper training class
«
on:

I just confirmed that the Trapper training class on Oct. 24 will include the Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator certification.
This certification allows the trapper to use conibear traps under water and padded foothold traps under certain circumstances and with a valid permit from WDFW.

Since this is a new class with all new (current) materials, I have no idea what time the NWCO portion will start. You are welcome to attend all or any part of the class. And I'm sorry for the lame answer----we are trying to work the bugs out of the new material.
The NWCO portion will be in the afternoon; I just don't know what time.

Anyone can use "conventional" gear regardless......with a Special permit.....
NWCO License allows you to CHARGE for your trapping services...
I charge 200-250 per beaver,,, (but i have to get them all)
100 per small animal plus set up
attic and crawl space inspections are 169
hourly labor is 95 per.............
If you are going to do it....Make the antis PAY.......................!!!!

I spent 3 week catching this LAST beaver from a colony of 6...........
3 weeks= 21 days x 1 hour a day minimum= 21 hours x your hourly wage = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in lost dollars

Hannibal - looks like those 660's work good on trap shy animals. Have you had any issues with them holding an animal? Just wondering.
