One of the muzzleloaders took a 360 class bull. I had not heard about the archery tag holder getting a big one like that. :dunno:

Well so far nothing over 330 has been takin out of the unit this year.   One 8 pt. with short tines, and 2 300 class six points by the archery guys.   Dont know about the other muzzie tag yet but heard he was tagged out.

Upper 300's huh?   You must be seeing a bunch of different elk than the rest of us!

Seriously...

Sniper...whats the biggest "official" bull you've ever heard of come out of there? How about "rumor" bulls or on the hoof bulls, estimates??

I'd be really surprised if that country has ever put out a 360+ bull... ???? Thats just going by what I know about western wash... "in general".... though.... :dunno:

There was a 386 taken out of there last year and 3 bulls over 350 I saw this year I would say one 7x8 was pushing the 390 mark

Hmm.  Those would be some very large rosies for the area.  Pics would be great.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe the Nooksack elk herd qualify as Roosevelt (especially since most of them have been transplanted when rebuilding the herd).  I think the rule is that they must be west of I-5 to be Roosevelt.

I think these elk are classified as cascade elk. Look in the NW big game records, there have been some monsters taken in western WA!

I saw some absolute monsters in there in the 80's.  I don't have proof, but would challenge that there were many well above 350. (I'm not the best at judging Elk score, but knowin the little I do now... More than then, it would not surprise me if there are some now that are that big in that unit.)
