To all who have posted your awesome looking three points but left out all the details (ie. state, season etc) you make me feel like  :bash:.  Lets hear a little more about the details from the hunt, its obvious you guys have gotten some pretty nice 3 points.

I have shown this one before and it's not a mulie, but a pretty nice 3 pt blacktail my father got many years ago in Thurston County.

Picture of My buddies buck we got in the teanaway.  It is 26.25 inch outside spread.  If I remember right he grossed low 160's and netted in the high 150's.

That is an impressive buck was that shot this year?  I''ve hunted out there for years and  have only seen one that may have been that big.

That doesn't look like any down low private property to me, looks fairly steep i'm guessing north fork.

Youre right..when Jakelope took it down to get it score, I think it had 5 scorable on one side and 4 on the other because of the eye guards and the trash around his bases. Its still a 3 to me! :)

i think thats exactly what it was...162 gross. 158 and change net.

JPhelps, check out my buck on page  2. Could they be related? Mine was taken in the Alpine 2 years ago. 21 inches wide.

Here's my 3pt blacktail with my bow. Shot it in 1994 Skagit County. It has a 3.5" eyeguard on one side. It ended up scoring 98 6/8" which was good enough to make the p&y books for blacktail. My dad also killed a nice 3pt in the same clearcut within 15min. and about 300 yds away. Here's a picture of them both.

Ridgerunner PM sent.   The story on the Alpine buck is we were doing a lot of scouting in the Olympics and weren't really finding what we wanted so the weekend before the season we scouted the Alpine. There were fires up there so plan b, c, and d fell through. We finally made it up into an area and saw 1 buck maybe a mile away, couldn't tell how big. Opening weekend we got cold, wet, fogged in, and had trouble starting a fire. The third morning I was a little dehydrated so I stayed in camp because I felt like sh@t! about 8 I spotted a doe about a mile away on a ridge so I grabbed my rifle and headed that way. 2 more does came over the ridge along with the 3 point. I got withing 350yds and waited until 11. Just when I was thinking he was going to bed, he fed out and I dumped him. 3 of us packed him out and as much camp as we could. We returned 2 days later to get the rest of our camp out. We worked hard for that deer, I got lucky, but I figure if you want to kill a big buck you need to hunt in areas where big bucks live. Drinking enough water helps too!
