Never Again
« on: October 14, 2009, 01:59:25 PM »
I will never hunt coweche ever again. Way to many people and quads all stacked on top of each other.  Got my truck blocked in twice, people following us in. Even had a guy and his wife follow my foot prints in the snow for over a mile, when they cot up to me they acted all supprized. I think I'll stick to my old stomping grounds for now on >:(

I work with a guy that rifle hunts elk in that unit and they dont seem to do that good.  he had a cow tag last year and had some tag soup at the end of the season.

I used to hunt Cowiche for elk during the general rifle season. It was good back then (15 yrs ago) but there's a lot of private land now and way too many people. I don't blame you, I won't hunt there either.

Me too. I've hunted a lot of other units, but always end up back there. What can I say, I'm a West Valley boy.

That makes three of us. Always hunt that unit during the late archery season. Wouldn't stop just because there are a lot of people.
