I dont think they should. its taking alot of the skill out of duck hunting when you do that.just my

I voted yes.

 I don't think we likewant to use them, if you don't want to use them, Don't use them. For late season ducks they help greatly. The call weary ducks don't respond as well and these can help bring in the ducks that have managed to get thru the Gauntlet of hunter on the way to their wintering grounds.

I say yea! the non motorized ones work better and cost less to use.. batteries when duck hunting is $$$$$

I say yes because what's the difference between one electronic device and another, (game calls for predators, rangefinders, garmins for fishing)

I said no because in the end they simply make the ducks more weary.

CA has a limited time frame when you can use them.  They end up working really well for about a week, but after that all the ducks steer clear of them...as well as decoy spreads associated with them.

In my opinion, the benefit of a couple of good hunts does not outweigh the costs of having more weary ducks for the remainder of the season.

it does not matter to me one way or another, but i said yes would like to try them.

I said no, cause it will give the sky busters more to screw things up for everyone else. I think it would cause major problems in heavily hunted public areas. They are cool no doubt, but don't think it would be smart. And for the life of me still can't figure out why cabelas and other sport shops sell. I know someone is going to say cause you can use them in other states. I don't think they should be able to sell in this state, is not legal so why?

Snowman, it's so all of the nature loving yuppies can have a flappiing decoy in their ponds.....

I have never really used the wing flapping ones but I did like the shaker things that put ripples into your decoy spread.  Nothing there for the ducks to be wary of unless they decide to stay away from every rippling duck.

It seems silly to me to have different state regulations for a federally regulated game bird.

Yeah pretty much lokidog. I got one of those wind ducks but rarely use it. but the ones that make a ripple would be cool. Although I do have these blow up deks that you attach a string to it and you can make the duck dip up on end or just jerk it to make ripples. If my phone don't like the water, than I wouldn't trust those to be fully water proof.
