2 Bucks for my buddy
« on: October 30, 2009, 06:36:11 PM »
We after several years of bow hunting and getting frustrated with "If I had a rifle I woulda got that sumbich"  :bash: my buddy decided to try modern rifle hunting this year. I guess it worked out for him :IBCOOL: The first buck he got in Or. I don't know much of story but Think he was 24" wide and was his first buck. The second he got in WA this afternoon. Not much to tell, we were driving in to a spot that he had permission to hunt, and saw this little guy about 200 yrds out. Stopped glassed area for few minutes to make sure his big brother wasn't lying in brush somewhere and being last day decided to take him.  :hunter: One and done. Dropped in tracks. Guess I've lost him to "The Dark Side"   ;) LOL. nothing against whatever a person chooses to use as there weapon, I'm just a 20 yr archery hunter and cant see myself doing anything else. Good luck to all this weekend
Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me
Genesis 27:3

I may not have alot but what I have I got honest.....

I'd rather be hated for what I am then be loved for what I'm not

Is it me, or are people getting dumber

if by first you mean first ever, I don't think he'll stay on the "dark side" just visiting. :chuckle:
Congrats to your friend on his success

Genesis 27:3 Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me
