Sherman Creek Outfitters
« on: November 01, 2009, 09:42:45 AM »
Well, I wanted to post this on the previous thread but I guess it got deleted :dunno:
Anyway, Joe just texted me about opening day for rifle elk, his clients dropped two NE WA bulls :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:.  One 2-3 and this fella here.  Congrats to Joe and his crew and of course to his successful clients, man do I wish it would be late archery by now

Joe has been doing this a long time and because of his success he has a large clientele. The benefits are he can provide for his family, the draw backs are he is taking guys hunting so many days out of the year he seldom gets a chance to hunt himself.

I got a email from Jody a few weeks ago, Joe had tagged out all his clients for the week and had a day off, with one day left in muzzy season. They went and got him a muzzy tag and went out the next day. After years of getting his clients all those critters, he finally got his first bull elk, a nice spike.

I know he would never post this himself so I will, he can chew my ass later ;) Congrats Joe!!!
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

September was quite a hunt for Cory, that same day he killed the bull after packing him out and getting the meat taken care of we went out to a different property of Joe's and he killed that fella the same day in the evening, now we had to drag that sucker out too, let say everybody slept pretty good that night and the next morning :chuckle:
