Congrats on an awesome bull dude. Really nice thirds. I shot a 300" 6x in 2005 on Halloween Day in the Nile. My hunt played out differently though. I passed on 12 bulls in the first 5 days. Two of which were toads that I cant believe I did. I also thought that with the start of the spike season that it would help push the elk around. But for my party anyways, it turned out that the bulls were pushed into holes. Most of the spike hunters are stand hunters anyhow over there. I lucked out and shot mine in a clearcut that I had jumped four bedded bulls in earlier. I was standing on the edge of it for probably 15 minutes and something caught my eye. Turned out to be a bedded bull in the small christmas trees. Shot him in his bed. Amazing how an animal that size can stay hidden so easily. His antlers were jet black and orange/red, Its funny how fitting those colors are, seeing as how it was Halloween. My bull lacked the 3rds and width yours has, along with alot else haha. I just noticed this, yours has a huge rub on his forehead just like mine did. Great job man, way to stick it out.
