That was pretty much the worst drag of my life. It took me 6 hours to get to my truck. I was young and dumb. Knowing what I know now I would have just gone back home and got a pack then boned it out. At the time however, I was seeing so much bear sign I didn't want to leave my deer way the hell up one the mountain. I bought this nifty little P.O.S dragging system that year. You can see the orange straps going around me. Don't waste you time with that thing. As Mark said it was not to long after that i purchased a deer cart. Screw dragging. I was lucky enough to have my father in law show up for the last half mile. He brought with him a big green sled. On the wet ground it worked great, well, better than what I was doing anyway. That may have been the most tiered i have ever been. with each step my foot gathered more mud I'm sure my feet weighed fifty pounds a piece. Never, Never, Never, Ever, doing that again.

2009 Moose, wasn't very far, but plenty heavy with the whole head in the pack.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.
