Transferring Tag
« on: November 13, 2009, 09:54:34 PM »
One of my buddies has an extra doe tag he is not able to use.  This may be a dumb question, but is there any way I can use his tag?  Again, I haven't been up here all that long so keep that in mind :)

That's a negative ghost rider.

Thanks guys I sure was hoping I could.  Oh well.  Guess I will just be along for the ride tomorrow morning in the blues with my other buddy who does have a doe tag.  I guess I was wishful thinking :)

This isnt really relevant to the original topic but i heard some were that if a hunter is disabled that you can shoot for him? Not sure if its true just simply curious.
Happy Hunting :)

legal questions such as this might be better asked of the game department.

The only thing I've been aware of is exchanging a archery tag for another method prior to season open of Archery.

But as for special permit, or even a deer tag.
I'd bet dollars to donuts you can't do this for so many reasons.

If bought tags could be shot by others, MY GF would have a tag yearly.
She does not have the stuff it take to put an animal down.
Now for her 12 year old daughter.
She will be putting in next year for a doe tag or special youth hunts..
