Entiat Buck
« on: November 15, 2009, 12:30:34 PM »
Here is the buck i shot with my Entiat permit last thursday.  Not a monster, but a nice heavy deer with some character.  24" wide, 3" eyeguards, had a droptine but it was broken off, probably would have been at least 2 or 3 inches if it was still there.  It was definitely a fun hunt!  Now the wait begins to draw that tag again.

CJ-5 nice Buck, I saw another one from the same area that a gentleman from the Menlo harvested. Hey I hope that you bring that to the Pacific Co. Sportsman Show next year. Northwest Big Game will be there scoring horns again. May 8th and 9th 2010.

:o Very nice! it looks like you had good weather. May be a little snow could have helped to locate the monster How many points did you have to get your tag?  congrats again

Thanks for the compliments guys.  400- I drew the tag with 5 or 6 points, i cant remember exactly how many.  So i was pretty lucky.  I am anxious to see what other bucks members get out of this unit this year!

very good buck, and it beats all this tag soup I've been reading about.

I'd be pleased with a buck like that come the day I draw my Gardner or Perrygin late buck tag...11 points now accumulated and hoping for 2010.

Great lookin buck, I like them dark horns. Too bad about that drop tine, definitely would have added character.

Great buck for sure. too bad the drop tine broke. that happened to my dad last year. when he shot it, it rolled down to the bottom of the canyon and it broke off a drop tine.
