We hunted Whatcom for the late hunt as well as Whidbey, one day. Oh man..we went up to this one spot that was about 4mile up switch back after switch back and I still don't think we made it to the top..lol. We saw a lot of sign but, just a doe.
We also hunted the big public land that people road hunt a lot and saw a NICE buck but, we were on our way out and it was 5-10mins bfore shooting time..things just didn't come together.
My older boy and husband are hunting late Muzzy. I hope that my older boy can connect with his first buck! He usually draws a doe tag and we normally head East.
We did for our youngest boy but..man these blacktail can be frustrating..lol

Way to go Chad.  Glad to see you and Troy get the job done.  You guys definately put your time in.  Let's go find that big high country buck next year.  If he doesn't die  this winter, I'm sure he'll be back.
