Moving to Washington at the end of December

I'm moving to the Seattle at the end of the month from Alaska and would like some guidance with hunting.  I would like to hunt deer next year, but for now upland and small game help would be great.  I also love to duck hunt.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Now back on topic.  I think your going to get here just at the end of the seasons.  Duck goes till Jan  ?  sorry not duck hunting this year so dont know the date.  After that its just Yotes and rabbits that I can think of off the top of my head.  Just an FYI from Seattle be prepared to drive a ways to get into good hunting.  Next is season up will be spring gobblers.  I know some good areas for them over in eastern WA but not sure on the wet side.

Welcome to the state.  I dream of going to alaska, montana, wyoming and people keep moving here from those places

yes shootmoore. duck and geese hunting goes til the end of january and upland birds ends the middle of january. but if you need anything about those two. I can sure help you out! I am only a bird hunter. otherwise I wish I could help more!

if you're looking for pheasant... you'll either have to goto easter WA or hit the heavily overpopulated pheasant release sites....  one tidbit of advice if you have a dog.... wait for someone to move through an area and then follow up behind them and have the dog work extra slow...  everyone is in such a hurry they miss tons of birds... that how i limit out... on birds missed by other hunters

Word of advice... watch out for all of the anti hunters in the Seattle area. Not a very friendly place for us outdoorsman to live in.Eastern wash. perhaps. Less people over there. Watch out for the hippies on their bikes they might run you over if they found out what you like to do. Hope you like sitting in traffic!!

Hunting and fishing in Washington are both open year round and it can be loads of fun. There are seasons for different species and these are all in the pamphlets. The rules are actually pretty straight forward and the game dept. can answer any questions you may have about them. While we don't have all the opportunities as Alaska- it is still a great place. Welcome to Washington and I hope you enjoy it here.
