Exactly! That was my thought while reading your post Bone, You don't have a bunch of guy's criticizing your hunt or animal before you have made it public.

The guy that the killed the buck had a great time.  Those who helped had a great time also.  I'm sure they're sitting back lurking at all the comments made and still having a great time.  I bet if is this post reaches 20 pages, a pic will be posted.

I bet it is a quality buck. I do not know why I or all of us are being rude. Are we just upset that we couldn't afford to pay for this tag? It is good for us. The money goes back into our wildlife. Let's give it a rest and wait to see a quality buck and I bet a great story!!!

I do not think so you would have already seen it.  It has made it around by cellphone for sure.
It is a respectable deer for any tag and hoping ALL the money this guy payed for it is used for what it was intended for

Well, what I mean was that other guy said he'd seen it on another site, so doing that pretty much releases all exclusive privacy the photo may have had before. 

Oh well.  Hope to see it up here after so much talk about it.

I haven't checked, but the Gov's whitetail tag has got to go for a lot less, doesn't it?  No predictable wintering grounds, and most of the best whitetail country has a late/rut hunt anyway...right?

It went between 7-8K and just to clarify for everyone, they are not "Gov" tags but rather "Auction" tags, to keep people from getting confused.
