Another Nice WA Whitetail hits the dirt!
« on: December 14, 2009, 02:54:56 PM »
I left my house Sunday afternoon and headed for my stand in Republic.  I left a little late and got to the stand with about a half hour of light left.  I was there for about ten minutes and along came this guy following a doe.  I guess it was my lucky day.  I shot him at 50 yards.  The arrow entered behind the front shoulder and deflected up into the spine.  The deer was dead in his tracks.  I love when you don't have to track them.  This is my biggest deer with a bow.  He will be going on the wall.  Hope everyone had a great year.  Cant wait for next year.
