« on: December 18, 2009, 08:11:27 AM »
I have a bunch of pixie spoons that I used on silvers in Alaska this year along with a bunch of size 4 and 5 vibraxes. How do these work on steelhead????

thanks

i never had any success with pixies(i've only tried a couple times) and i like smaller spinners than 4's and 5's for steel.

Pixies used to be the hot ticket, they were really popular, I never did squat with them, but I don't fish spoons much either. I believe they are still very popular in AK.

pixies work great in ak. but havent used them on steelies, your vibrax spinners should work great though, winter colors blue ,orange, and pink bells.

They won't work! Send them to me I'll dispose of the Vibrax spinners for you next October when the local rivers are full of crome silvers. ;D
