Have 8 pts. Put in for my usual LE rifle units. I heard of a lot of people not applying due the new fees of $75 non-ref..

I looked at the Henry's non res rifle tag odds and they are worse than most sheep units :chuckle:

Pissy thing is you can't apply for elk until you draw deer unless you want to waste a bunch of points.

these state really have you by the short hairs once you commit to one its really hard to quit without following it all the way through and that could mean decades of apps.

I decided to have my deer states as Colorado Nevada Arizona new Mexico, and Wyoming.

I want that early Nevada archery hunt bad. I love rural Nevada.

I'm waivering on Arizona.  I just don't feel like I will ever get drawn there.  No need to talk to me about how awesome it is, but the price for it, and odds of getting drawn.  Holy cow.  We bitch and moan about osts here in washington.  Their super deer raffle ticket like 300 had is $30 each. :o
