I love wood ducks!  I missed one a couple days ago.

I agree, bullfrog tadpoles.  I saw some in CA that looked like baseballs with tails and little legs.  The bullfrogs were enormous, though. 

By the way, if you ever get a chance to gig giant bullfrogs, go do it.  Take a 12 pack of beer, a spear and a headlamp - SUPER fun.  They eat good, too.

I concur.  Gigging bullfrogs at night is quality fun.  Fry the legs hot enough and they don't taste fishy.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Funny!  When I was a kid, I watched a seagull nearly kill himself trying to wolf down a whole flounder on the dock one morning.  They aren't exactly the best shape for eating whole.

GREAT PICS BONE!!!!! Wood Ducks are my favorite... And those are Bullfrog tadpoles... I use to use them for bait catfishing....
