3 sheep and a skinny cow
« on: December 26, 2009, 12:58:09 PM »
Ok, well I took these pictures the other day.....not too bad for just trying out this whole picture taking thing......I think the animals were a little too far away....but it was the best I could do.....hope you enjoy them!

By the way.....that cow elk doesn't really look like she is going to make it this year! Too bad.......

Good job Rem, just remember to set your camera on the the largest file, you can always crop the image to make it closer.

Thanks HuntnPhool! Ya, I don't really have a clue what I am doing yet.....but I'm having fun anyway....you should see the five pictures I took trying to get a close up of the biggest ram!!! LMAO Never did get him centered!!! He was in every corner of the camera....until the last one....and that was a picture of his butt! LOL Guess I will learn in time!

Rem, I am just starting this picture thing as well, nice pics. What lens are you using?  I can't wait to get out and start taking pics.  Good job!

Nice pics. That cow elk looks like she has a swollen nose? Just wondering if something happened to it. Is it just the picture or did her nose looked messed up?

You know I never really thought about it until reading your post.....but now that I think about it, that cow would bend it's head down to feed but was not taking a bite of anything! Now that I look at the pic I can see why......it does look really messed up and swollen.....I have other pictures too, I will go take a look at them and see if I have one that shows the face better........I really felt sorry for her though.....wonder if she got shot...or bit or something?!?!
