Best Scope Rings?
«
on:
January 05, 2010, 12:04:57 PM »
I know this has been a topic before but i can't find anything through the search box. What are the best scope rings in your expertise opinion? I purchased a new rifle (haven't got it yet) and need to slap a scope on. I've used leupolds on some other rifles and also burris but wondering if there is anything else out there that might be better to use.
thanks,

WARNE MAXIMA. they are the beefiest ones out there. strong hard steel. come in quick disconnect as well.
DNZ very uniqure for the market and a lot of common sence. look good as well.
EAW SCHWANK MONTAGE(swing mount) or EINHAWKMONTAGE(claw mount) the best return to zero removables on the market.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

Badger or Farrel. Unless you don't want to spend $130 for rings.
I have used Leupold, Warne, DNZ, and they all work great. Any of the all steel good names brands will hold very well.

I like the Tally lightweights. Or the Leupold dual dovetails.

Talley, Warne or Deadnutz.
I own 3 sets of Warne (great heavy-duty rings), but my next set will be Talley or Deadnutz (so, I can avoid standard scope bases).

if you can find them, a company named buehler made the best mounts and rings until the mid 90's when the owner died. i found some used ones at bullseye in tacoma last year. i paid $108.00 with tax.
