Food gathering
« on: January 15, 2010, 08:19:46 PM »
I enjoy cooking and trying different foods, recipes.

Any of you guys who enjoy cooking interested in a gathering when the weather gets better and sharing recipes, dishes?

I live by Ellensburg and would be willing to host a gathering of HuntWa members. Maybe in May this year?
Have plenty of room if guys want to stay the night  at my house and camp,  bring RV. Lots of hiking and can shed hunt in my area, sightsee at the local wineries.

Have always wanted to do a pig in the ground Hawaiian style

Let me know your thoughts, interests etc

I'm always up for a gathering.  I think we are doing the catfish/smallie rendezvous the first weekend of June at Lyons Ferry and there's been talk of a westside shin dig at Rasbo's in late July so earlier may be better.  I need to drag the boat over that way this spring.

Keep me in mind. Think of getting some guys together and sharing food recipes. Lots of fishing within an hour's drive of my house.

Open to any suggestions. Know a lot of talented cooks on here

Thinking of a weekend end of April or beginning of MA.
Will post and hopefully get enough interest. Plenty of areas to camp, put RV near my house.

My wife and I just  did  a Russian New Year's food party every year at our house. She makes a bunch of Russian and I do some Georgian dishes and invite neighbors who all bring a national dish. 5th year and lots of good food and fun
