StrutNrut1984 spooked a Bear last week up north here.. 30yds, came out of the brush, snarled and went the other way. (said it scared the piss out of him!  :chuckle:) It's been so damn mild, I don't the bears are sleeping much.

i think i may go buy a new gun see if that doesnt scare me up a coyote.... so your already ready for turkey season eh gutpile giving up on the dogs?

I have been scouting my area lately and it seems the ones that run around my small town either aren't as active or just aren't howling. The scat and tracks in the area also seem lower then I remember.

I notice someone mentioned rabbits, rabbits are extremely low in my area too. A few friends have been letting me know when the dogs in there area howl at night and its almost between 12-2:30am. Think its because its colder out?

I don't know if buying a new gun will help your Yote huntin but I can 100% guarantee it will make you feel better.  :)
