Think I'm done. Dang it.
« on: January 26, 2010, 09:41:40 PM »
The last two outings have been a bust and the weather just sucks for coyote hunting. No winter this year. They were just on fire earlier and thought it was going to be a good one but didn't pan out for me. Only got 5 dogs this year!  :bash: I did however pop that fox which was cool. Well I guess I'll get the honey do's done and gear up for my work season which will probably start a little early this year which is good but I'm so disappointed with the weather this year. I look forward to chasin yotes all season and it sure was a let down. I suppose I'll get out once or twice again but really not sure at this point.

Oh well mama will be happy. I started tearing out the bathroom today. Re doing the whole thing from the floor up.

Well boys and girls, I'll see you around. It's almost TURKEY TIME!!!! WooHoo!!!!!  :IBCOOL:

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Yeah, and it makes us all look bad!
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Well heck Gringo if you didn't go and kill them all I'd still be hunting. Actually I always stop mid feb so I can gear up for work and get the truck ready. I really need to get the bathroom done so it's time. Mama gives me a lot of freedom now I have to do my chores.

You'll get the itch in a couple of weeks and go shoot a few more. It's kinda hard to keep after them during this time of the year when they aren't responding very well.

I hear ya. I had a contractor over yesterday looking at some projects here at the ranch. I have also been looking at getting another road bike so we can do some short 200-300 mile day rides during the summer months before I start working six days a week 12 hours a day again. Spring is here already and I'm not prepared  :yike:

Those road bikes are over rated Gary, no fun at all. Yup its a real chore.
I talked to this guy the other day riding this funny looking Suzuki, Strom I think, he said it was no fun too!
You better buy a mini van or something!

Hey Carl :hello:

Nice scooter, if that thiat thing drips all it's oil out I can drag it behind my minivan to Jiffy Lube for a refill  :chuckle:

Still on the fence about the whole idea anyway. We still need to do some other work around the house, couple of decks and a new kitchen.

Anyway looking is still fun, not as fun as wheelies though  :4w:

Gutpile- Don't feel to bad I have to start on one of our bathrooms very soon also, screwed up and stayed at too nice of a hotel last winter, they had a jetted tub and now the wife will not be happy until I put one in. It's all good though I just finished adding a bedroom to the basement and actually enjoyed doing all the work, except the mud on the drywall, that sucks. I learned that I am an over achiever on the seams, texture covers all the hours I put into the sanding.

I got into a bunch of turkeys yesterday Gutpile, they don't know what time of year it is. They were acting like it was March.

Hey gut- I went to tri-cities yesterday and seen two yotes from the freeway. I saw the first chase about 6 geese into a pond. Looked cool and one second either way and I would have missed it. the second I spotted running up a hill about 30 mile later.

You got that right. In April I'm not around much all work and turkey hunting. Then I'm so busy through Sept it's rediculous then fall comes and all I think about is hunting this or that. Now it's time to pay up.  :'(
