Do all the spring bear tags require a land use permit from the timber companies such as Hancock? I'm looking at 653 and 654?? Maybe 501 as well.
I got a call in to see what the deal is for people drawn for spring bear, but dont have a permit. I will update when I get a call back.

Last year I think it was $100.
Not all spring bear tags require land use permits, but the ones you are looking at do.Hunters interested in hunting on theKapowsin Tree Farm (units 653 & 654) should contact the treefarm before submitting an application to findout what areas are open. Those selectedfor the Kapowsin Tree Farm hunt must thenpurchase an access permit from HancockForest Management by calling (800) 782-1493.Hunters selected for the Copalis hunt (unit 501) mustobtain a Recreational Use Permit and shouldcontact Rayonier at (360) 533-7000 duringregular business hours.
