Belisle Enough Said.  I have (6) 330's and (2) 280's and love them.  Safety springs will never accidently go off.  Never had a miss.  Caught a Bobcat in a dirt bank cubby set, and the cat (27 lb male) didn't even pull on the wire.  Broke it's neck.

On the other hand, when I first started my uncle gave me some Duke 280's.  I was doing a reset in the water and BAMMM! one thumb on one hand and the four fingers on the other.  Thank GOD Brushchimp was there.  He had to use the spring setters and that hurt even worse, when the springs were under max tension.  Never again will I use them.  There safety hooks are like a half jay, and the dog is not notched enough.

I got both thumbs caught in a victor 330 one time. Had to walk about 1 mile home and have my dad get me out. Learned my lesson real good on that one. Didn't even lose a digit. Good thing I had thick gloves on. That is the only brand I have ever used other than leg traps.

Speaking of being careful, I got a 330 caught on my right elbow/arm one time, was 1/2 mile walk in, had to get it off with one arm, it can be done... :bash:

Be careful, always use the safety hook until you are ready to leave, I think they could break bones...
