No experience myself but if you use the search feature here you'll find a few reviews of them that members have posted. They didn't seem too happy.

I have looked at them but never have shot one, for the money in a youth semi i dont think you could go wrong, heck if you dont like it you can probably sell it for close to what you pay, and kids can grow out of a gun fast.
Come on dad, pony up and get here a Bennelli montefeltro short stock 20ga.. i know were there is a used one in camo for like 850, might be able to talk them down just a little..
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Ya may be better off spending your dough on a used 1100 youth model.

Unfortunately the cost difference between crap and quality in autos is considerable.  It just seems these low end semis are a real headache alot of times.

Although you wouldn't get the recoil reduction (I'm not even sure these Tristars are gas guns) of a gas semi.... a youth pump may be an option too.

I bought one a few years ago for my wife and it has been working just fine. We use it for shooting clays and have not had any problems with it at all and the price was definitely a plus.
