« on: February 17, 2010, 07:20:07 AM »
i got a new rest last night and i like it. its a trophy taker rip cord style. not sure the model lol. i trust the guys at wholesale sports and they didnt let me down. its the one you can cock so no arrow bouncing around at in opertune times. something i love. thanks agian guys. if your looking to talk shop with some folks that know there stuff check the place out. talk to dennis or larry (olddog). i'm sure the other guys that work there know there stuff to, i just havnt had the oppertunity to work with them. funny thing. last night a couple that had never shot archery before came in last night while i was BS'ing with dennis. they were just looking for info and toying with the idea of getting into the sport. long story shot dennis got them both behind a bow in the shoot lane. the guy only let a couple go but the girl shot probly 30 arrows, dennis got her shooting 3-4 inch groups at ten yards withing about 15 mins. remember she had never picked a bow up before last night. she seemed hooked. if you need so work on your form go talk to dennis and he would be happy to give you some pionters. just bring your bow
