Who shoots what?
« on: February 04, 2008, 07:58:11 PM »
I started with a TC Hawken, moved to a TC Thunderhawk, then to a Knight Predator and Wolverine. I shot a White for a while, good gun but I don't like the idea of propritary bullets. I'm sticking with the Predator (for now  :chuckle:). All in .50 cal.
What guns do you shoot and why?

I have a TC Hawken in 54 cal and a CVA Hawken in 50 cal that I use because it is what I have, they were given to me when my FIL died and I have tried to carry on the tradition but I think it is time for a change.

I've been hunting with a White for the last 13 yrs. I just bought a T/C black diamond last fall because I broke rear sight on my White. Both are 50 cal.

I started out with a CVA hunter musketmag, then tried a Traditions, and then a couple of years ago bought a Knight Bighorn 50 cal. I have been looking at the 52 cal but not alot of info out there on it.

I stated with a 50 cal Traditions back in 95 and now have been shoot a T/C Black Mountain Magnum in 50cal for the last 6 years. They do not make this model any more but it is a great little shooter. I have taken Deer, Elk, Russian Hog, and Buffalo with it with the Power Belt 348.

I have 3 Remington 700's. All .50 cal. 1 youth model, a standard and a magnum. I shoot the same loads and bullets out of all of them and they shoot well. I actually prefer hunting with the youth model, it handles well in the brush being short and stubby.
