Came across this the other day.  Good reason to have gloves in the backpack while cleaning your birds!

I get this every year..all of those 1 1/2" spurs always get me..a little shot of penicillin and you 'll be OK..My advice is to shoot jakes then this won't happen to you guys...LOL   :chuckle: :chuckle:


I may have use a clorox wipe for a quick cleanup.. :)

My dad got spurred ten years ago he got a bad infection from it lol pretty funny a dead turkey whooped his a$$ lol

I try to wear rubber gloves when cleaning fowl or mammals. Haven't worried about fish yet, but who knows what can occur nature.
