I imagine by resigning before the trial he preserved his retirement. I'm not looking to bust his b@#ls, but I thought the hunting related punishment could have been a minimum of five years.
There is no explanation to me for what they did. I have watched so many "big" branched bulls during hunting season I can't count them, but I never felt the urge to whack one. Sure I am as disappointed as the next guy that the biggest bulls I have seen are when I haven't been able to shoot, but still they are great to see whenever you can.
There's enough illegal activity out there that the punishment that is given out obviously isn't slowing anything down. To me that indicates stiffer punishment should ensue.
