The fawn will have dropped by then, so it should be a good time to try some fawn bleets. The doe in my yard is getting quite large, and looks like she is going to pop anytime now.

Pre-planning for next weeks trip is in progress.
Dad has agreed to tag along for another set of eyes.
Hopfully brother can get away again.
gonna talk to Ed and Rick to see if they can come along too.

I will be out and about that weekend as well. My Brother and I still have tags to fill. I have seen 2 and not had any luck getting a shot. Seen them off of the 8000 and the 6000, while driving to a new area. Still no luck calling one in for me, just yotes. Good luck, still looking to run into ya out there!

we will probably be camping at our usual place off of the 8000 in the gravel pit.

Yes that was us and yes we heard all the calling.
It sounded really really good.
Did you guys call in a yotee or was that a call? The one sounded really close to our camp.
I knew i should have come over and BSed with you guys.
The word on the street was that you guys were there a week.
you going back?
yeah that is the third time i have stayed i that same spot.
prolly be there again.
