Yes it is sad. I think nowadays people would rather stay home and spend time on internet message boards.   :o

D-Bone had one soccer game and two basketball games. Lil Bone had one soccer game.   Its more competetive now than it EVER was as far as I am concerned.  D-Bone is already playing at a level that I probably was at in high school, though she can't dunk yet.  Maybe there are jsut more choices now than there was then.  That can be a good thing, but we do miss out on some of the simpler things.  She gets to feel the rush of competetion.  A guy got thrown out of the gym again....dude this is third grade basketball, are you seriously that upset.  He is probably on here as he had a camo hunting hat on and looked like a fellow member might look like.

In a way, I still have that excitement.  Made my plans for Springer fishing on Saturday.  Friday evening was spent spooling reels, and rigging rods.  Had a tough time sleeping that night.  I spent all day at Drano, battling crowds, rain, wind, and cool temps.  However, I had a blast.  Wish my dad was still alive to enjoy it with me.  After 15 yrs. I still miss him when I am outdoors.

There were a couple of guys fishing next to me, with a young one with them, it was good to see.  They left to take him trout fishing, then came back later.  The boy was having a blast it was obvious.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
