I have the G5 peep on my Martin bow right now in 5/16", Cabelas and Sportsmans (wholesalesports) do not carry the 1/8". I found the 1/8" online. I would like to hear thoughts if you have used either the EP Hunting red eye peep or G5 meta peep. Thanks for your

Neither are going to be a bad choice. Maybe think about R.A.D. Peeps, also, since they are made here in Washington.

i like the g5 i never go down to 1/8 i do shoot a lot of long range practice and it is nice at the farther distances but the 3/16 matches with my sight housing much better and i get a lot more light in low light conditions to help make that shot

we us RAD peep I think they are one of the best and we use The Super Ball Peep is the most versatile peep ever designed. The patented design allows for five optional apertures sizes without removing the peep from the string. The peep housing is sold separately or in kits. Verifiers (for clearing pins) and Clarifiers (for use with a scope and lens) are also available. The 1/8” peep comes in 2 string groove angles: 37 and 45 degree...one thing to look out for with the G5 peep is in the bigger sizes they can crush with some of the speed bows and with 452X strings they will lookk like a egg.

i have heard the same thing about the g5, that they are much lighter being magnesium but the a prone to crushing. gaining 3-4 fps is not worth the risk of a crushed peep.

I have no problems with my G5 peep. I shoot the 1/4" and have no complaints.
