Wasn't really looking for them until I spotted one. Then there would be one or two more within a few feet of it. Walk more find one. One or two close by it as well.

odd man out

If you hold them by the tip of their tail they don't stink up your hands. Just let them lay that day.

Found an aggressive little *censored* today. Walked by a little pool of water, about 2x4 feet, and peeked over to see if any tadpoles were in it. Sure enough, lots of little guys swimming around. Then I also noticed a black and yellow garter snake in it as well. Thought I scared him and he was crossing over to get away. Nope, he was in there swimming around and eating the tadpoles. Fat guy too. Watched him for a little bit and got closer. Thing coiled up, opened his mouth at me, then tried to scare me with a mock strike. You kidding? I taunt him a little bit, he's still being aggressive and wanting me to leave him to the tadpoles. Got tired of his attitude and was going to catch him and throw him in some bushes away from the water, but he saw it coming and slithered into the tall grass. Thats okay, I'll get him. Put up a blind and wait at first light, he'll come out sooner or later  :chuckle:

I thought I was going to watch a woodie choke to death on that tadpole.  damn thing threw it back like he was doing shots of wild turkey, and it got stuck.
