I found elk
« on: May 06, 2010, 06:00:54 PM »
Pulled the cards from my trail cameras today.  Both are placed at crossing trails so I was pretty sure I'd get something.  I am very happy so far.  One nice cow on Camera 1 as well as a yote.  Tons of deer too.  On camera 2, 3 bulls with nubs as well as cows and lots of deer.  I am going to keep working the area throughout the summer and in the fall I hope to get me some meat.  :hunter:

That cow looks great 8), bulls a little ragged :dunno:, and that coyote looks like it could use a meal or two, and a good brushing :chuckle:.
Good luck getting one!

The elk and deer around me are still sheding and have yet to fully get their summer coats.  Hope to be able to pattern them,  There were actually 3 bulls.  Be cool to watch them grow.
