scouting
« on: May 11, 2010, 06:05:48 AM »
I'm actually going scouting on foot this weekend. Anybody heard of such a thing before?

I would just stay on-line to do it but my fingers are totally wiped out and I can't justify the hours I spend on here and the money that internet costs.

anyways, wish me luck on my old fashioned, get out their and put down some effort type of scouting.

:chuckle:  I am jealous.  I wish I could make it out in the woods more.  When my daughter is able to walk and talk she will be going with me.

WHERE YOU GOING?  YOU SHOULD TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS AND POST THEM HERE AND GIVE A REALLY GOOD DESCRIPTION OF WHAT YOU SAW,  AND ALL THE SIGNS YOU SEE,  SO I DON'T HAVE TO GO OUT AND GET DIRTY...  LOL   :chuckle:   I'M GOING OUT THIS WEEKEND TOO    ;)

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
