Refurbished??

 Considering purchasing a refurbished Nikon from a reputable dealer, anything I should be concerned about, other than warranty? Anyone had bad experiences?

Bought a refurbished Nikon range finder from optics planet two years ago with no issues.Think it was around half price.

i have bought a few cheap scopes that were refurbished and never had a problem i would think nikon would be fine.

I told my wife she could have whatever scope she wanted on her rifle, after looking at many different scopes including Leopold and the top european scopes, she chose the Nikon Monarch. 

It was new, but we like it a lot.

glad she likes it and it is a good scope for her.
