Kelly Hill Spring bear
«
on:

Sorry it was a late post but my brother and i pulled a stock on this younger boar in early may... We were able to use my winch and all my cable to make the steep trip back up the mountain... We ended up with a bear and 2 lbs of mushrooms by the end of the day... alot of fun cant wait till fall season...

Nice job, I've taken two Kelly Hill bears but both were in the fall and both came into a predator call.

That's awesome. The first bear hunt I ever went on was with my Grandpa up Kelly Hill before I was old enough to carry a gun. That was back in the days when you could bait. He hung some sardines in a small burlap sack in a tree and we sat and watched it in the rain. Bear never showed, but for some reason I still remember having a great time. Love that area.

Nice bear, so how did you get this one? What caliber did you use?
