Only 3 months to go

3 months to go and archery season is going to be here. Can't wait, should be a great year lots of vegation this year and a mild winter last year it should be fun this year. Well it is fun every year but it seems this time of year I think about opening morning everyday now. Although I changed my time off this year to taking the first 2 days off and see how the elk are acting. I usally take the whole first week off. Then I will determine from there to take more days off or wait for the last week of the season to take off.

Time is flying by, I can not believe there is only 3 months left. Crazy. Luckily I have been working out since December and shooting my bow better than ever. Unluckily my area I prefer has been changed to spike only. I like to hunt and not see people all day but spike only with a bow seems like a long shot. I see a lot of elk each season and 2 or 3 spikes each year but to have the right shot opportunity on a spike only with only seeing 2 a year seems not to promising.
