yeah, they're pretty bummed. draw what you think is a good tag and come to find find out that the wolves have eaten all of the elk in the black forest.  :chuckle:

I need another month of vaca. this year.

They may be ablr to turn their tags back in and get there points back ?? Might give that a try so they dont loose them all on a wolf infested no elk area. Then they can put in for the best tags in the state, Margret and Toutle next year. There is no better place to kill a monster 240-250 class bull  :P

Bucklucky may have just become my favorite person on this site.  In fact, I might just forgive him for posting all those pictures of his bull and claiming it was from the Blues... :chuckle:

I am set to go with a friend and his buddies. We are going horse back and we go in six miles to a camp. I have done my homework. The only thing now is learning to score an elk on the hoof. I will be in good shape and I have done a lot of hunting in rugged ground by foot.

Bucklucky is right, you don't need to waste time trying to score on the hoof as there are no hooves in there to score, but good luck with that awful tag  ;)
