As stated, the aero blind is a great option where you can't build a permanent blind.  That being said, it is made from EMT tubing.  3/4 inch EMT tubing can be bought for $5 or so for a 10 foot stick.  It can be bent by hand with a 20 dollar bender.  The mesh that they use is the same as the orange mesh that you see at construction sites and music concerts.  As was said above chicken wire can be painted and used.  Remeber that the mesh is only being used as a base to attatch your veg to.  When you are done you should not be able to see the mesh through the cat tails and other vegetation that you have used.  Instead of mesh you could also use 1000 denier cordura as your base.  This would provide a wind block as well.

If you have any questions or want any pictures of aero outdoors products, let me know.  I live 15 minutes from their shop.  Feel free to pm for another Aero outdoors tip

i usually hunt out of the aero outdoors deadly duck 2 man blind! we hunted out of them just like they were with no modifications. since we have 4 of them we were noticing ducks flaring because they were seining in them in the crack were the top falls down to shoot out of. so we had to modify all 4 to make them so ducks cant see in. i would not recomend them unless u want to do many modifications.

I have hunted out of them for 3 years now and no of a duck club that uses 4 of them on there property with no problems. I like mine but we heavily brush it in so there is no seeing in when we are done. At least not any worse than any other blind. You have to have enough openings to see out of to work the birds and when the door drops you have plenty of room to shoot. Half the time I brush it in well enough to leave the hatch down the whole time.
I am sure you can make one for cheaper but I have no free time so it was worth the purchase for me.
I am an electrical contractor with a million benders. If you live close by Burlington and bring it back within a week I will loan out my hand benders. PM me if you want to borrow them.
