Been playing with the Arcsoft Panorama Maker 4 software that came with my Lumix FZ18.
Works great for interior shots to create a really wide angle lens effect.  Think this software
costs about $40 but I'm sure there is free software out there and most cameras come
with one brand or another.  It's recommended to use a tripod and not let the exposure vary
too much from one shot to the next.

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not the fish they are after.

Great panoramic photo.

I love panoramic pictures.  They are my absolute favorite.  I use photoshop CS3 to do mine.  Some pointers on doing them is to keep the camera level, overlap the photos by at least 25%, lock your exposure as the same for every shot, and expose on the most midtone area that will show up in your final panoramic photo.  Also, try and use a lens that isn't too wide or long.  A 35-80mm is perfect.  Maybe I'll post some later...

Here is one from Black Lake. Tried to do this with PS. Should try the camera software.

That is really stunning Billy.  Blending can be tough with Photoshop so I make sure I lock the exposure for all the frames.

Thanks guys. I will admit that I got lucky and that I took the pics in auto mode. I really don't know alot about photography other then to take a lot of images. It was a tad rough as I was standing on a dock and I was trying not to create ripple in the water as well as keep the camera steady.

Ice - I took those pics that same day I took the one in my avatar ( I was driving on Hwy 101 ) and I was on my way to WORK. lol
